Outsurance Bad Experience

I’m disgusted with OUTsurance customer service, I have inquired and explained about my son using my car for two weeks to work, how does it work should i put him on my car insurance as an additional driver, they however tell you that makes him the regular driver, i explained that he would use the car for two weeks till work transport is sorted out, however i said no i am the owner and the regular driver of my car. however when the consultant said it will increase from R929.23 to R1962.83 i said to him no ways that to steep I can’t afford that. I was told to hold he will put me through to someone, this person said he will listen to the call and call me back on Monday. The evening i discussed with my son and he said no dont take it he made arrangements and is in a lift club. So when i get to work on Monday morning I see there is an email with my new premiums stating the new premium of R1962.83 which i did not agree to take the upgrade, now I’m having a problem for OUTsurance to leave my policy as it was and not change it which i didnt agree to in the first place. i have been on them for three days now with no result and was now told that my query is going to the ***** department They listened to my first voice recording, why don’t they listen to my 2nd voice recording where I tell this call center guy that I cannot! Afford that high premium, and yet he changed it without my consent !!! Even as im writing this my car is parked in my garage at home, i use a lift club too ...WHY ??.... I JUST WANT THEM TO LEAVE MY PREMIUM AS IT WAS .... OR CANCEL IF I HAVE NO ALTERNATIVE. They make me out to be a **** and a *****! OUTSURANCE is HORRIBLE!

I would also like to know I have comprehensive insurance with Outsurance, what happens if I'm at work my car is at home, i need to be fetched urgently for an emergency, am i not allowed to give someone permission to drive my car and fetch me?????? as an example, or does that make the person you give permission to the regular driver now because they driving your car, that is what OUTsurance makes one believe, that nobody other than yourself should drive your car. or say i fall ill at work and my car needs to be taken home because Im going to hospital by ambulance, does it mean it cant be driven by anybody with MY permission..... because this is what they make believe,

Hello Patricia1215

Firstly, our apologies for our belated response.

Once we received your feedback, the matter was investigated and the regular driver has been changed back to yourself.

It was disappointing to note we added to an already stressful situation by wanting to reconfirm all relevant underwriting.

Our client care manager, Nerisha contacted you and informed you of the change we made, noting you as the regular driver of the vehicle again.

Thank you for affording us the opportunity to assist as well as your understanding.

Regards
Dinky

Best regards,
