Outsurance

I am extremely disappointed with the way Outsurance has handled my recent third-party claim involving a Checkers Sixty60/Pingo delivery driver. On the 7th of November 2025, the delivery driver entered my property without permission and negligently parked his motorbike on an incline behind my vehicle. While distracted on his phone, he failed to secure the bike, which then rolled down the incline and fell onto my car, damaging the left tail light. The driver immediately admitted fault and even texted his supervisor saying, “My bike just fell onto the customer’s car…” I submitted a third-party claim, supported by video clips showing that the motorbike rolled due to negligence — not due to any environmental factors. There was no wind, no movement of trees, and even the paper bags on the ground were completely still. Despite this, Outsurance rejected the claim and presented a completely false version of events, stating that a “gust of wind” blew the bike over. This is simply untrue and contradicts both the evidence and the driver’s own admission. They claimed there was “no evidence” to support my version, despite having been provided with video proof. What concerns me even more is that this doesn’t seem to be an isolated issue. Other customers have reported similar experiences, where Outsurance allegedly encourages insured parties to give misleading accounts in order to avoid paying valid claims. Customers deserve honesty, accountability, and fair treatment — especially from an insurer that markets itself on transparency. My experience shows the complete opposite. I am now escalating the matter to the Ombudsman. I strongly urge others to be cautious when dealing with Outsurance, as my experience indicates they may deny legitimate claims even when the evidence is overwhelming
