OUTSURANCE are OUTRAGEOUS........
After missing two instalments on my business policy due to a lack of work / income I wasn't surprised to see Outsurance stop my insurance cover, they were well within their rights to do so. However, what I'm completely gobsmacked about is when I go back to them to try and reinstate my cover now that I have some income coming through they decide to more than double the cost of my premium....... In the 5 or more years I have been with them I have never made a claim, ever......... Service with a smile I'm sure!!

We are not insensitive to your disappointment. The new premium we offered is much higher than the premium you paid before the policy was cancelled.
Our client care manager contacted you. Your whole payment profile was discussed, which resulted in the latest premium calculation.

03 May 2021, 16:07No one has explained to me why my premium has more than doubled other than to say its from the underwriters......... Missing a couple of payments should not mean your premiums doubling. Outsurance are unfortunately no different to any of the other bigger companies in SA nowadays, it's all about the money and aggressive tactics are app****. These companies will eventually suffer as clients pull away from a lack of service and customer awareness.
