OUTSURANCE ARE CON ARTIST

In February 2022 I requested a quote for my new vehicle. The premium quoted was over R2000 more than I had be quoted by another insurer so I stayed instead with them. In late May 2023 I called to make an amendment to my policy and the person I spoke to ask if he could quote me on my car bought15 months before. I explained that I had already had a quote for that car and that OT were more than other quotes. He insisted that we did the quote anyway and said if he could not beat what I was now paying I could claim R500. He could not beat it and so I claimed R500. I received a call from somebody who said she was in the "promotions department" This department does not exist or none of staff know about it. The call centre tried to connect me to the promotions dept. today but nobody answered. They make it so difficult to claim in the hope people will give up.
