OutSurance and Providers Bad Service
Brief: In The beginning of October on a Friday Night, My Vehicle was in a accident. Standing at a red light, a intoxicated Driver rammed into the bad of my vehicle, forcing my vehicle into the vehicle in front of me. The intoxicated driver(Vehicle that caused the accident) tried to drive away but was stopped, Later the intoxicated driver’s friend picked him up and ran off, luckily members of the public followed them and Police when and picked up the Driver and arrested him. Actions: Towing got approval from OutSurance to tow my Vehicle. The Vehicle was taken to OutSurance Yard. On the Monday Speaking to OutSurance I was refused to go have a look at my car as members are not allowed on the Yard and that an assessor will have a look at the vehicle. That week the vehicle was taken to the panel beaters(Will not put there name on here as they don’t even deserve bad publicity) that OutSurance decided on. I proceeded in writing OutSurance a email (as I burned my fingers before of not having things on black and White) to state all my concerns of damages that I saw the night of the accident and also told them that I will not accept or sign off any work if there is mechanical of safety related issues on my vehicle(It’s a 2018 model with 14 000KM on the clock). I was told by the Provider (Panel Beaters) That my vehicle will be done by the 25th of October. When I went to the provider the week after the 25th as they were still not done, they showed me my vehicle as they just need to still wash it as they are so called done. When I got to the vehicle it was bad. Body parts where not aligned paintwork was worse than an average toddler’s paintings. So, I in a very nice way showed a couple of faults out to them and told them that I will not approve this work. Later they discovered that some part of the body is bent and needed alignment to make some parts fit. On the 11th Nov the vehicle was sent to Ford for inspections. I was at Ford and also had a look at the vehicle while they were doing inspection. WOW what a shocker. A lot of *****s and plastic clips where missing etc, then the worst: The lights that was quoted for replacement was loos bolts missing, Broken light is still on the vehicle and looked like they tried plastic weld or something anyone with superglue could have done a better job. Going to the tailgate, wow, at the Top, the gap is about 10mm and the bottom 2-3mm, the paintwork: some parts there is no clear coat, some parts there is hardly paint on. On some of the back lights one can visibly see the overspray. On the passenger door there is a dent and scratches that was never there not even after the accident (must have been caused by again Providers of OutSurance). On the 12th of Nov OutSurance phoned me and told me that they are just waiting for fords assessment, and after pointing the fails that was seen at ford, the Provider gave info to OutSurance and OutSurance has the audacity to turn around and tell me the miss aligned parts etc is like that on a Ford. That’s the first time ever that I thing in the history of science it could have been proven that blood can boil inside a human body. Further: I’m awaiting feedback from OutSurance to tell me what they going to do. And I had to return my rental vehicle as OutSurance only provides it to one for 30Days the rest will be on my account.
