OUTsurance - ABSOLUTE ********S!!!

OUTsurance are absolute ABSOLUTE RIMINALS, I decided to join them after leaving my previous insurer after years of loyalty as I had to “save” costs and went with the “cheaper” option. I unfortunately had a smash and grab and I was told that it would just be R1500 for excess to fix the window, so that’s no problem, that how the industry works, they then appointed and assessor to go “assess” my car and low and behold, I then had a claim of R28 000 arrive in my email and I now had to pay R5500 excess???!!! The claims advisor said to me that I must’ve been in a state of “shock” to not have noticed the damage. Luckily for me I was able to obtain pictures of the car one it was sitting at the panel beaters and what OUTsurance didn’t know was that I had taken pictures of my car before it was towed. So, I won’t put specific blame on anyone directly but you will get the point, my car NOW had scratches on the passenger door, cubbyhole and dash board and the window that was originally hanging in the frame as per my original pictures had now been pushed completely inwards in the car and was obviously sc****d along those areas to cause more damage.

It makes you think, they are the “cheaper” option but what a disgrace!! I WILL be fighting this all the way to end and I advise anyone reading this to very very careful think about the long-term costs and realise this company will do whatever they can to get their money back somehow!!!!
