Outsurance
Only gave them a 1 because I could not add my review without it. As far as I am cocerned they should be walking around with balaclavas, robbing people as they do. Had a 3rd party claim for their client wrekking our vehicle 2014 NP200 and then saying l they will pay is R6.6k which is about 10% of the value of the vehicle

20 Feb 2023, 13:10Received a call from Outsurance who insist that a fair amount to reimburse us for a vehicle which according to their assessment is worth R73700 retail and R68800 market, is R6689. 28. Their client admitted that the accident was solely his fault as he was being distractedby the childreniin the vehicle and now Outsurance wants to say that we are also to blame given the point of impact, nevermind a stop street was skipped and there was 0 % chance to avoid them. We have now been told that we are free to seek legal advise but there are laws that they are applying here and the reimbur*****t is calculated at a 40/60 ratio. Quotation for repairs amounts to R63667. 53, therefore the vehicle is a write off and we are supposed to relace the vehicle with less than 10% of its value. Extremely disappointing and stand by my statement that I will NEVER recommend them in fact will go far and wide to highlight this to people so they are not caught in this situation

20 Feb 2023, 19:16Please do not ask for a claim number again to have someone else contact me and waste my time trying to justify that R6689 is fair amount to be reimbursed for a vehicle that is worth 10 times that amount. We have contacted our attorney's and still stand by the statement that I will spread this far and wide to warn people what they look forward to should the join Outsurance and be in the unfortunate position of a third party claim. The damages to our vehicle, as per the assessor is R63667.53, the retail value of vehicle is R73700.00 and market value R68800.00. Please with tears in my eyes, how is R6689 a fair amount to be reimbursed and never mind the R1500 towing fee which we were told would be reimbursed and not or included in the insult of a settlement received
