Outsurance

Outsurance is **** that robs people and does not pay out as they promise. My fiance had her car insured with them for 4 years and we recently added another car on to her insurance as she had it for so long with great experience, little did we know it was only because we never claimed in that 4 years. so the new car got in an accident and they wrote it off but after 2 weeks of investigation by their assessors they denied our claim on grounds that we apparently provided false information of which they do not even have proof of. Their assessors tried several times to force us into admitting the vehicle was used for business purposes as it was a 7 seaters even though we explained we got the car because we love to travel with family but because tracker report says the car moves a lot they say its business. We requested them to check with taxi associations where we live to confirm that but they refused and now we sit with a damaged car whereas we have been paying the vehicle insurance for a year without a default. Horrible experience and the assessors are ***** and make up stories they cannot prove. Outsurance will decline your claim merely because you drive it, they will decline your claim because you parked your car or visited your family or partner more often than they think is normal, they will decline your claim because your car has too high mileage basically Outsurance limits your driving as per their assessors Johan Hibbers and Quinton Kruger. Their findings and final verdict does not have any concrete proof of anything but speculations. We need help in this.

Hi Brian

Following your recent contact with us, we acknowledged your complaint and escalated the matter to our Claims Managers to review and assist.

As confirmed, you and your fiance have a right to be satisfied with the insurance cover you have with us and we apologise for the disappointing feedback regarding your claim. We completely understand how the experience has made you feel and are certainly not insensitive to your loss.

Our Claims Manager Francois contacted you to address your concerns and discuss our position in the matter. He discussed all the merits the decision was based on and related how we came to the decision.

You noted that and advised that you will decide if you will take the matter further or not. Francois confirmed that you can take the matter up should you wish to do so and advised that more information in that regard is on the rejection letter.

We are very sorry for the ordeal and any inconvenience as a result.

Regards
OUTsurance
