Outsurance, 5 months for a claim and refusal to return my items not paid for.

My husband claimed for content for items that were damaged during a storm on 30 Nov 2025. It is now April, the claim was eventually paid out on 18 Mar but there's a few things that we're battling with. 1) Some items that were suggested to repair by Allsure, after the claim was paid, now cannot be repaired, a very large photo frame, which is quite expensive. What happens now that the claim is closed. 2) There was a substantial amount of electronics sent for testing, I've emailed our claims agent numerous times since 18 March for them to be returned, no response, I called the company and they stated they haven't received an email from outsurance to release the items. 3) Some electrical appliances were brand new and only opened to be tested, it then becomes 2nd hand, some items were bought as gifts and now cannot be gifted. Outsurance refused to pay out for that and refused to give a guarantee that if the tested items stop working within 6 months to a year that they will replace it. 4) The items that were taken to be cleaned have not been returned, because there was no instruction from Outsurance. 5) All the items that were tested or to be cleaned have not been returned because now it seems, Outsurance has instructed the relevant companies to pick them up (picked up in Jan 25) but refuse to pay out for them. I dont know what else to do or who to phone to settle this matter. Just by the way, when your claims agent wants to complain about the claim and the client, please make sure she ends the call first. I was very happy with her service until I heard that bit. I also received a call from a very rude lady asking at the beginning of March asking if in fact, the claim was paid out, she was from some Salvage company, then asks me why hasnt the claim been paid out as she sitting there waiting for the items, I dont think this was Allsure, i referred her to Outsurance, she gets angry, says settle this claim quickly, we are wasting her time and cuts the call. This isnt the first time Outsurance has sent ridiculously rude and unprofessional service providers. This happened in Dec as well for the electronics. This is the first time we've claimed for content in 14 years. I didnt know this would be such a headache, Outsurance either pay me for all the items you collected from my residence or return them in working order, if in fact the electrical items stop working, I am taking you guys to the Ombudsman, you tested the items in Jan, it is April, theres no guarantee. This is going on for 5 months now with no end in sight. I think we've paid close to R700k in premiums over the years, but when there's a claim, the first option is to fix and return, not pay out!
