Outsurance 3rd Party Claim Rippoff!

My daughter was hit by an Outsurance client when he did not stop at a non-working traffic light (therefore a 4 way Stop), and drove straight into the side of my daughters car. She had stopped at the intersection, waited for her turn so that it was safe. Then once she was past half way through the intersection, about 70%, their client arrived at the intersection, drove straight though it and hit her. We went to the Police station, reported the accident, then started the 3rd party claim process. They eventually rep**** to the claim saying that my daughter was 40% responsible for the accident, and therefore they were only going to pay R 25,816 for the claim, instead of the R 52,046 it should have been. They send legal quotations to you and say that its a final offer. This then gets you to think just how many thousands of people they are doing this to. Just how much money do they save/pocket by bullying people, as i cannot take them to court to fight this, most can't. So you sit, look at the rediculous offer but just cant sign it! You ponder the Ombudsman, but that will take Months, and meanwhile you sit without a solution, and they move on to ripoff the next poor sod. I suppose in the long run, they will loose, as i will always persuad people to stay away from them, and if i can convince a handful, then they loose anyway. All for R 26,230. NEVER USE OUTSURANCE, they just don't deserve your hard earned money when they treat people so badly.
