Outsurance

We logged a Third party claim against outsurance after their client admitted that she was wrong and caused an accident. The quotation to fix our car through a auto body shop that is on Outsurance's panel is R 110 000.00 (Ford St 2014) yet they only offer us R 41 000.00 due to the fact that they work on a percentage system. During this incident I had right of way, their client stopped at a yield sign and then suddenly just pulled away right in front of my car. Obviously Outsurance know that she was wrong because they did make an offer. They however paid their customers claim in full and her car is currently being repaired although it was her fault. When their client phoned them to ask why they are not paying for my damage in full she was told that she is not allowed to be involved. When we spoke to the outsurance agent and told her we cant accept their offer as it is way less than the quotation their response was that we should get legal aid. We did not cause the accident and are now sitting without transport (we only bought the car November 2020) and then we must still pay for legal aid also to try and get our car repaired. The claim number was provided by their client to us, just showing that she admitted guilt.
