Outbonus

I find the ad pertaining to the bonus extremely misleading. Being with Outsurance since 2004 when I bought my 1st car and the implementation of the no claim bonus not trusted. How can a vehicle with a premium of over R500 gets a bonus of over R2000 as advertised and my premium of R600+ only receives a bonus same as my premium. They should be dealt with by the advertising ombudsman as misleading advertisment and it should be rectified. In the same breath I want to mention that I only claimed once after a small window of my car was broken after attempting to break into my car. Maybe my intelligence level is not high enough to really grasp this concept but I do not agree with the false advertisment.

Hello Benita E

We want to thank you for your loyal and continued support of all these years.

The OUTbonus pays out in cycles. After 3 claim free years, you will receive your percentage calculated over 36 months. Thereafter, you enter into cycle 2, which pays out after 24 months, therefore the percentage calculated over 24 months premium received and thereafter every 12 months, calculated over the past 12 months' premium received. Once you submit a claim, you will move back to cycle one.

Our client care manager will contact you and discuss the detail with you.

Regards
OUTsurance
