Outbonus

Apparantly anybody can make a claim on my behalf, and thereby make the dicision to forfeit my outbonus.

My wife, who is NOT the policy holder, inquired about a claim for a windscreen, and outsurance decided to go ahead with the claim, without confirming it with me- the owner of the policy!.

The windscreen was worth R2600, with an excess of R1100. But I lost my outbonus worth R4500!

This was never communicated to me, otherwise I would have never gone ahead with the claim.

All that the ****y managers at outsurance says, is that they sent an sms to me, which I never received, and that indemnifies them from any wrongdoing.

So technically, I paid about R6000, for a windscreen worth R2600.

After numerous frustrating phone calls, a manager, called Sya, eventually told me-' we are not going to pay you, as simple as that!'

I have now cancelled my policy and moved to santam, which is MUCH cheaper!!!

So ***** you Outsurance! You have lost a loyal customer of 8 years- just because you did not have the decency to confirm a claim with the rightful policy holder.

Hi Pieter,

Thank you for notifying us. Siya our claims manager has spoken to you about the matter. You gave us authority to speak to your wife. The claims advisor mentioned that if you claim you will forfeit the Outbonus and the 3 year cycle will start from the beginning.

Regards, Kelvin

Best regards,
