OUT with OUTSURANCE !!!
What a night mare with these guys. I got my laptop and some recording gear insured. There was water damage to the cable, and the computer didn't charge, and issues with the battery. The first call was from an individual who rudely asked questions about the house insurance. He wanted details of an old aunt who was a guest there to see if she had cover. I kid you not!!. He then said I wasn't covered as there was an error from their side with the Policy as issued under my home insurance. In addition ,A technician examining the lap top said the battery was too old and wasn't covered. The question is why did they continue to cover, if computer old AND if there was issue with Policy from their side. The worst thing being the incredible rudeness of the cross examination as if i had just ****** the crown jewels.. After 20 years using them, they have lost a customer. I work in advertising and their "happy customer" commercials make me laugh now.
