Nothing Out just Bad credit listing for me

Begining of the year and i went to apply to purchade a house,on my credit it shows that i owe outsurance an amaizing R4000.00 now i had life and car insurance from the company and informed them when i was layed of work due to the company closing down , i informed outsurance as my life cover included a retrenchment which i was told would pay out if i ever lost my job, when i called i was informed that they will not be paying ,knowing how insurance works i didnt take any action against them as i was stressed and had other things to focus on like getting a job. begining of the year 2017 i apply for a house and boom my credit is declined due to the fact that outsurance has got a listin on me. aftre speking to Sarah Bohmer who keeps telling me there is nothing she can do even tho she stated that i DO NOT OWE them anything but she says they cant remove the llisting and i must go to my bank and the credit listing company and give her a letter she sent to me. im in awe as to how this can happen and no one take resposibility for it my credit score is droped and i do not qualify for the house because of this. i asked that she forward the email correspondence to her supperiors and i havent recived anything. I NEED THIS SORTED OUT ASAP. Im tired of having to request great service when it should be a norm.
