Not a happy OUTsurance customer

I have had such bad experience with OUTsurance over the past two years. We had two car accidents of which none were our fault the one being a head on collision because the other driver went into a diabetic coma and died. Then we had terrible electric storms and lightening hit our house and blew our tvs. Then the one day eskom sent a message for load shedding and when I got home a my computer and my wall mounted dysan was not working. I reported it to OUTsurance and I got a message stating that my account had been redflagged for too many claims and would I rather cancel that claim. I said no and they were to continue it. Needless to say I got a message say any power related claims I would have to pay R10 000 excess. I was not happy and put it on hellopeter.com and they reduced it to R5000. On the 23rd December 2020 we had terrible rain in East london and my house started leaking in various areas. I logged a claim and was told that the contractors are on leave and they would contact me on the 5th January 2022. We had floods in January 2022 and my one bedroom was flooded as well as my scullery. I contacted OUTsurance and they stated that no one could get hold of me. So they had closed the claim and had to reopened the claim. The assessor came and not a word from OUTsurance. So it has taken from 23rd Dec to 31 Jan and still no answer from OUTsurance. What is going on. I had my house insurance with absa and never had a problem and OUTsurance told me to included it in their portfolio so I have all my insurance together. I USED TO ALWAYS REFER ALL MY FRIENDS TO OUTsurance BECAUSE THEY WERE SO GOOD, THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN Anymore. They sent me a letter with my increase of over R300. 00 but can't get hold of me to let me know what is happening with the leaks in my house. I have been with OUTsurance for many years and to be treated like this is bad. Certainly not living up to their ads on TV. So sad...
