NO ASSISTANCE FOR CLIENTS DURING COVID19 AND LOCKDOWN

I have been with Outsurance for 4 years and never missed one payment. I am in property and have not earned for 2 months because of Covid19 and the lockdown in South Africa. The payment for April did not go through I have just found out. They are going to try and take the premium off again on 28th April. I explained that I could not pay on the 28th April as I had not earned income for 2 months but could pay early May when I had some monies coming in from overseas. I was informed that because I had not paid, I would NOT be covered until payment was made. So despite being a regular payer for 4 years and despite the circumstances many people find themselves in through no fault of their own but because of Covid 19 and Lockdown, Outsurance will do nothing to alleviate peoples difficulties and stress. As soon as Lockdown is over I will be cancelling my policy and moving to an Insurance company that treats their clients with considertion and compassion. OUTSURANCE SUCKS BIG TIME!

Thank you for your response. The same lady has just called me from the same Call Centre. She said that she had escalated my call to her Manager. Her Manager's response was the same. They could do nothing. So assume Outsurance are still going to try and take off the premium on 28th April when I asked them no to! If there was no money at th beginning of the month why would it be any different at the end of the month before people got paid?
My pension comes in during the first week of May and asked them to hold until first week in May but, no, 28th April it is!!!!!
I reiterate. I am a pensioner that has paid for 4 years and never claimed so they have used my money but not on me!!!

You can keep your company and your insurance. I have never known insurance companies to be any different. All they are interested in is taking your premiums and trying not to pay out for claims.
I will now cancel my contract and find an insurance company that is proactive with their clients.
I hope that none of your families contract Coronavirus so you dont have to experience the same lack of compassion your clients receive.

So someone phones me from Outsurance.

Their solution to the problem is nothing. Because my premium did not go off at the beginning of April, they will waive the date of the 28th April and make the new date 11th May. They will waive the payment for April and you think that's nice of them. And then they tell you that you are not insured at all until you pay on 11th May!
So after 4 years of payments and no claims and the pandemic Covid19 and lockdown for 5 weeks, they will not even give you any leeway. I dont have a problem paying for April and May at the beginning of May - but am no longer insured irrespective of th circumstances.
So I am now going to find another insurance company who care about their clients.
OUTSURANCE SUCKS AND I WILL ADVERTISE THIS ALL OVEER FACEBOOK
