Money withdrawn without having an insurance policy
Good morning

Early in October 2015 my wife bought a new Datsun Go. As required we had to get insurance cover for the car before it can leave the floor of the company. As we both phoned around to get insurance quotes we called outsurance and received a quote. We weren't happy with the quote we received and rather settled for another company's.

This morning my wife received an sms that a debit order from outsurance went out of her account for R781.09. She contacted them immediately to find out what is going on. The person who helped her today then said that the previous person who assisted her in October have given the green light for the cover to go ahead. After my wife then asked him to reverse the money, he then said that he will see what he can do. To us that is totally unacceptable.

Outsurance should be ashamed of themselves. That is why for the past 5 years I haven't don't even bothering contacting outsurance because of problems I experienced with them through friends and family members.

Hope this can be sorted out.
Regards
Mr C Pretorius
