Misrepresentation

I took out a policy for a VW polo at the end of February 2025, I was advised by the consultant there was an option to have a tracker or no tracker. I elected to have no tracker installed as the premium plus tracker subscription made no financial sense. A week later I received a message saying I needed to provide proof of a tracker being installed. I immediately contacted OUTsurance and they said my car did in fact require a tracking device to be able to insure with them. I suggested they play back the recording of my conversation with the consultant, whereby there was telephonic proof of the conversation. I followed up no less than 4 times and repeatably told they would try and resolve and was told a manager would contact me, not 1 single call or email was received despite endless promises each time I called. I assumed all was resolved as I had proof of the conversation and policy - WRONG! Fast forward to beginning of June I happened to call OUTsurance for a comparative quote on my building insurance and I followed up to make sure the polo issue was resolved. I was effectively told that nothing has changed and basically my car has not been covered for theft since policy inception. I was blatantly **** to and wouldn't recommend OUTsurance to anyone, I will tell anyone looking for insurance to avoid you. It was a mistake trying you and I am glad I never moved my whole portfolio to you
