Misleading advertising

On the 09 June 2021 I received a quote from Outsurance for building insurance. A few weeks prior to receiving this quote (I don’t recall the exact date) I received a call from one the sales agents where I was told that I would receive R500 if Outsurance could not beat my current insurance. The sales agent asked me what area of insurance I would like a quote on, and I chose house and building. After endless calls it was discovered that OUTsurance could not beat my current insurance premium. I then told the sales agent that Outsurance owes me R500. The sales agent confirmed this and told me that I would receive an SMS link to claim my R500. Up until today I received nothing. On 24 June 2021 I called the company and explained the situation. I was told that the R500 is only for car insurance which was not explained me to me when the initial call took place at the beginning of June. I was then told that the sales department will listen to the recorded calls and get back to me within 24 hours which was not the case. I then sent an email on 28 June 2021 requesting feedback. On 29 June 2021 I received a call from a manager from the sales department where he also mentioned that the R500 was for car insurance. This does not justify anything as I was told differently. I am currently still waiting on feedback and the end solution as I am tired of explaining myself to Outsurance. I guess this is how people get ********** due to misleading information being received on the initial telephonic conversation. Someone was supposed to call me today (29.06.2021) around 1pm and nobody has called yet (14h45).
