Men pay more than women and depreciation of vehicles are ignored.

I received a notification that my monthly premium is going up this year. I then had a look at my policy and noticed that I pay more on the vehicle where I am the primary driver. However, I pay less for the vehicle which my wife drives.

I queried this and I was told that men are a higher risk. WHAT UTTER *******!!!! I have more driving experience and am older (over 30).

I honestly could not believe my ears.

Also, my vehicles values depreciate on my side, but my premiums are going up on the insurer's side. That too does not make sense. I'm beginning to think this is a racket.

I have never had bad service with Outsurance, in fact, only excellent service. It’s just the above discovery which is making me contemplate moving my policy to a different insurer.
