Thank you for your feedback.
I am going to reject your claim that your "advisor wasn't forceful". I was the one on the other side of the line, not you, and I am stating that the advisor was most definitely forceful. I made several attempts at slowing down the conversation as I could not keep track. The reason for the call was only to ask questions, if I decided to sign any contracts that would only have happened if i could see the conditions of the contract in writing. Clauses were read out to me which I had to agree to in order to process the quote, I noted several times that I need to see the contract or the clauses in writing for me to agree to them, I asked that she email these to me but apparently that just is not possible with Outsurance. Why do you insist that I need to provide my banking details for a quote? Never in my life have I been required to supply banking details, address, ID number, employer details, all for a quote, over the phone? At one stage when I started feeling as though I was being ****med and I noted that I am no longer interested, immediately the line was dropped. At that moment I was entirely convinced that I had been ****med. The lady then phoned back but at this stage all trust had eroded.
I can assure you that I have my fair share of telephonic conversations over my lifetime, and I can tell you when it feels as though I am being loured, ****med or manipulated. I am not saying I was being ****med, but I am saying that it most definitely felt like it.
What I can also tell you is that I most definitely received several insurance related calls within minutes of my conversation with Outsurance. I receive the odd spam call, but I have not received 7 calls in a row in one day. I doubt that is a co-incidence, so if you say none of my details were handed to third parties, then I am telling you that my details were definitely intercepted by third parties.
