Low premiums means small pay outs!
Please be very careful when insuring with Outsurance. I just burned my fingers by falling for their good premiums. I insured a Garmin Nuvicam GPS on their Out and About category for R6900 as it was bought for R5300 three years ago. The GPS got ****** in Italy (along with my rental car) and I put in a claim. I am now told the specific model is no longer manufactured and was offered another model which retails for R4100. I supp**** them with a quote for a refurbished Nuvicam which costs R10000 but they insist on giving me this other model which costs R4100. I now understand why their premiums are so low, it is because they pay so poorly. Stay away!
