Liability Claim with Outsurance attempted to be resolved with a 'reasonable' offer

<p>I've been involved in a bumper bashing early September 2016, the lady who bumped into me is insured with Outsurance and my claim is now obviously handled by her insurance (Outsurance) under the 3rd party liability claims. </p> <p> </p> <p>I have submitted all necessary documentation and quotations from an approved VW panelbeater as requested by them - after numerous e-mails on the progress with the claim, I've been given a settlement offer to sign which then finalise the case and I will then have no claim against the lady or Outsurance for the said accident.</p> <p> </p> <p>The total of the quotations submitted - including car hire as I'm an independant consultant totalled up to just short of R 50 000.00. Outsurance thought it might be very considerate of them to make me a measly offer of R 37 265.73. </p> <p> </p> <p>Their reasoning for making this offer is that they see it as reasonable - REASONABLE!!!!!! My car was not in a REASONABLE condition on the date of the accident, neither will I allow it to be fixed with a REASONABLE offer.</p> <p> </p> <p>I expect of outsurance to put me back into the financial position I was prior to the accident, meaningly that my car will be fixed with geniune parts from my choice of approved VW dealer (not that there's many to choose from in my area) with as little inconvenience as possible.</p> <p> </p> <p>Dumisane N****eni has been dealing with my claim and Nas Senne who initially consulted with me is now missing in action, pretending to not read my e-mails - poor dude obviously does not know that I get a report for every e-mail sent to him which he chose not to read.</p> <p> </p> <p>I'm in the process of getting quotes for my current insured profile with Outsurance to move elsewhere as I can not afford to pay for REASONABLE service - to think that I was planning on moving my vehicle insurance to Outsurance!</p>
