Just sadly disappointed Outsurance

In August sometime, someone has driven into me ( its a straight road with the left flowing into it. ) That vehicle had to stop and wait as i had the right of way. Long story short, the person who didnt stop, managed to damage my van from the front to the back on the left side. He obviously disputed that he was in the wrong, apparently it becomes a stop and go... (rule book was rewritten, I guess ) still beats me. According to the lawyers at Outsurance, because he had his own version of the story, not really one that follows the rules of the road. Outsurance only wavered my excess, but damages had to be paid from my cover. (Another thing that baffles the mind) I didnt want to fight and had them carry on. After my vehicle is almost 2 weeks at a panal workshop, i just get and sms stating that your insurance rejected the extra parts to complete the job. The front bumper need to be fixed. But they cant because they need remove the bullbar to fix replace the bumper. According to Outsurance i need to put in a new claim. I said well how else would u like to replace the bumper. In the fix would to replace the bumber, pull thd bullbar and replace the grill. For this a new claim, which will cost me a full amount excess for a job which cannot be completed. It's pretty disappointing that I'm already paying from my own cover for someone who hasn't been given the responsibility of his actions in the 1st place. I've been very loyal customer, have another vehicle insured and was pretty happy until today. Purely for absolute lack interest in even letting me know whats happening, just cancelling without consulting, and having my pay an amount as extra claim rather than just adding to an existing claim. Sadly the ads of people being extremely happy with service about this company failed me in a massive way. I'm truely shocked and disappointed. Lack of interest, professionalism to keeping me as a client in the loop, or even trying to assist as this is a very difficult period in all of lives right now. I actually dont think they give a damn. 2 claims for 1 section that cant be done without other. Adding the extra cost to the current claim as id stiĺl be paying for this from my own policy. Sigh! "Out" surance

Good day Liesl,

Sorry to hear about the accident, we hope you weren't injured?

After responding to your review privately we escalated the matter to Lerato our claims manager. Lerato contacted you to address your concerns and she discussed the recourse in detail with you. Monique our legal manager has been unsuccessful in her attempts to contact you. She has subsequently sent you SMSs and an email. Please advise Monique of a date and time that is most convenient for you.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to look into the matter.

Regards,
OUTsurance
