Iphone repairs

<p>Good day. I lodged a claim and took my phone to TT3 for an assessment on my Iphone that broke. they assessed the damage and sent the report through to the consultant. I also contacted Apple store directly to find out if oI could do the repairs privately but was told they do not repair only replace. I am concerned as your service provider said it can be replaced, I asked Tim from TT3 about this and he confirmed that apple does not repair only replace items that are damaged. when I queried if genuine parts were used he informed me that they were not genuine but made in the same factory as apple. (ya right)! How can you allow fong king parts to be fitted on genuine apple products? do you know that i will lose my guarantee with apple if i do the repairs? Tim said that he will give me a 12 month warrantee on their wormanship. so what do i do if something happens to my software or if the phone are replacement parts do not sync properly? I really expected more especially after the last experience I had with electronic goods being repaired! </p>
