Interrogated, **** to, house search, police called
****OUTSURANCE - WARNING******
Friends and Family, so I pay my premiums every month, my car gets broken into at my sons school video footage from multiple cameras, of the whole event. I get assigned an assessor that treats me like I am the ********. After enduring an interrogation where he used various techniques to try and trick me and confuse me. I asked him who is the ********???? He then told me he has to go into my house to take photos of the rooms I would have kept my items in that got ******. I was weary on why he needed to enter my house and take images of my rooms. Especially as all he has is a business card. My family safety needs to come first. However wanting to co-operate I said ok if you have to. I told him I have dogs and that I would have to put them away. He then said no its fine if they bite him its ok I had to eventually tell him - you will not enter until I have my dogs put away safe. On entering I took him to my office where he proceeded to take photos of my office. Going straight to one of my briefcases picking it up and saying what is this and what is in this? He then pointed to my 1 camera bags and said whats that and in that lunging toward it.... seeing another bag and asking..... Thats when I stopped him asking why is he searching through my personal belongings? He said why is that a problem? I said yes I don't know you, who you are where you are from and you are taking pictures in my house and wanting to search through my belongings??? He said to me he wasn't searching BS!!! I said I don't agree to this, however I will allow a search of my property with a policeman there again wanting to co-operate but caring for my families safety. He said fine then call the police if thats what I want... Call them...... So I called the investigating officer..... when he called his manager to say I am not co-operating with him and not allowing him to do his assessment!!!!!
More to the story..... I was **** to, the assessor tried to entrap me, bul**** into allowing him into my house.... I am now left shocked and wondering for my families safety, what compassion does Outsurance actually have for their clients....
I have spoken to a manager and requested all recordings and engagements.
Part 2
I was told by the assessor that Outsurance is in possession of video evidence from another house.... (about 30min into the interrogation) on record the assessor told me they have this evidence....
I called the Constable that is investigating the case, he said this evidence has not been submitted and asked me why Outsurance is withholding this evidence? (I then also questioned this)
Apparently Outsurance does not submit evidence without consent from their clients. As it could in some cases incriminate their clients in certain circumstances. (Apparently they don’t tell their clients either unless they have to)
Best part Outsurance doesn’t actually have the footage..... they ****!!!!! It’s still with the owner of the property......
Part 3 to follow.....
(Please note I did everything to be accommodating, being friendly and holding back through the whole incident. I don’t just post about service without giving a company a chance to correct its mistake, but this went beyond anything I have ever experienced)
Hello redtige
You raised a distressing experience and we are very concerned about the comments you made. The experience you describe is certainly not what we want for any of our clients. Although our assessor was convinced that he treated you professionally he became aware of your unhappiness during the assessment. He then involved his immediate manager, with whom you had a telephonic conversation. A meeting was arranged yesterday. Due to the nature of your feedback, you were met by two management representatives of OUTsurance. We reiterate their apologies for your perception of the experience. It was certainly not our intention to make you feel this way – our assessor was appointed to assist in the processing of your claim. As per your request, we will place your claim on hold until you have met with our Head of the Assessing Department and myself, Head of Client Relations.
Regards
Natasha
