Insurance ******

I called my Insurance company about 3 weeks ago to send them my tracker certificate and I then prroceeded to ask the consultant what the status of my insurance was as I had skipped payment the previous month but had paid for the forth coming month, He then told me that all was good and well and that my cover wouldnt be affected in any way. He then informed me that my next debit order would go off on the 30th of March 2017, and I advised him to make it the 31st of March because that is when I would be receiving my salary. He then told me that he has done so and after he had changed the dates he told me about a charge of R58.00 for changing my debit order dates. I then advised him that they were the ones who had changed my debit order dates because the official date of my debit order had initially been the last day of every month and that the 30th of March was not the last day of the month, after endless calls, the consultant then called me back to tell me that the debit order would go off on the 31st but the charge would still remain and would go off on the 30th, which did not make sense to me because I had clearly stated that I would only have money on the 31st and had complained that It was not me who had changed the debit order date. They have flatly ignored me to this day, I asked them for recordings of every conversation i have had with them from when I took insurance with them to prove that the initial date agreed upon was the last day of every month.,further than that I have proof from my bank statements and sms notifications that my debit order dates has been going off on the last day of each month! it has been over 3 weeks since I requested the recordings which THEY SAY WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE UPON YOUR REQUEST, I suppose they discovered that they were wrong, and assumed i would forget about the whole thing and UNFAIRLY charge me R58.00 for their own incompetence. after tons of calls with no help i have decided to take to Hello peter and if no satisfactory result comes of this i will take to social media and the ombudsman until something is done!!!! I will not let Outsurance do as they please with my account.

Hi Sadi,
Thank you for bringing the matter to our attention. Laylaa our sales manager called you to discuss what transpired on the call recordings. It was established that you told the advisor to debit you on the 30th of each month. Laylaa then asked our retention department to assist you with a better deal which they did. You were happy with the new package and an updated policy schedule has been emailed to you.
