Insurance companies *******s

Would like to say although the gentlemen that disragard my claim was very pleasant. I would like to find out what fairness this is, I have a brand new house, we had a bad wind storm, I can even give photos of the water tower lid that flew off, any way outsurance paid out for the fixing of the roof , but after the wind storm it started to rain in the roof, however I tried to seal the roof as outsurance will not pay for the sealing, if outsurance could not even get an contractor here, how am I meant to get a contractor, they eventually send out an assessor out, to see what is the problem, this is now 3 to 4 months later, to tell me now its the pitch of the roof and still won't pay to seal the roof, and today I been told that they are going to put a clause on the roof, if my contents is damaged they will not pay due to water damage, okay so what do I have Insurance for, firstly I myself went to tried a waterproof the roof so that no further damages are done, outsurance has no contractors in this area, which I requested from the beginning, I am getting very upset, because if your insurance company can't help which will benefit them, who can you trust, I heard lots of people complaining about outsurance and now I know why,

Good day,

Thank you for bringing the matter to our attention.

Mbongeni our assessing manager discussed the claim in detail with you. He informed you that you need to consult with the previous builders as the damages are due to bad workmanship.

Sorry for the disappointment.

Thank you,

Kelvin

Thank you for your response, however just need to advise you that, your guy did phone me, and said that I should consider raising the pitch, i have been onto Harvey tiles website, and they say the pitch should be between 15% to 45%, please note mine is 22%, also the bad workmanship is that I tried to waterproof the roof after the wind storm, which I am myself sorting out, by proper waterproofing and painting there after, I would like to ask you why don't insurance companies approve a house before insurancing the client? That way you won't have unhappy clients. Anyway I not going to harp on this just I think its very unfair, and also please put the correct comment of what you told the client
