Increasing premiums
I just received an email from this outsurance letting me know that they will be increasing my monthly premium plus my excess for my polo.gti.2013. Their excuse is inflation while the car value is decreasing. I'm so disappointed that I referred half my family members to such a service. I'm definitely cancelling my policy with them.

It's most unfortunate to see you have since cancelled your policy with us.
We rerate all policies annually and always endeavour keeping our rates reasonable. it is also a fact that we need to make provision for possible repair costs should there be accidental damage clients want to claim for. The reality is, although the vehicle value depreciates, labour costs as well as spare part prices increase, which affects the rerated premium.
