Increased premiums unfairly and incorrectly

I have insured my motorcycle with Outsurance for almost two years now and I have been riding motorcycles for many years before that. So I was using a learners license to legally drive on the roads. The only limitation according to the law was that I could not carry passengers. Which I don't do. Anyway, two days ago I went for my motorcycle drivers test and I passed. So in the eyes of the law surely that would make me a more competent driver? Considering the law now allows me to carry a passenger.

So I called Outsurance to review my insurance premiums as this must surely decrease? Outsurance proceeded to increase my insurance premium because they said this is the first time i'm getting a drivers license and therefore the premium must increase.

They have no understanding of the laws and license privileges surrounding motorcycles which is shocking considering they have thousands and thousands of people who insure motorcycles with them...
