Increased premium

Thank you Outsurance for increasing my premium and citing that it is due to increased costs to replace my vehicle. I'm not sure if you are aware that cars depreciate in value?? I was promised that once building up a risk profile and no claims my premium would come down, however with zero claims and zero default payments you have kindly upped my premium. Thank you...

Even after querying this and sourcing out far cheaper quotes from Kingprice your consultant nicely stated that you are the "Woolworths" of insurance and Kingprice are the "Shoprite" of insurance and hence why a higher premium... Pretty sure your whole campaign is around your competitive pricing position, yet you say I pay a premium for your service??

Thank you for making my decision to look for alternative insurance easier.

Hi Tim,
Thank you for bringing the matter to our attention. Please note that a vehicles value does depreciate however the cost of spare parts and labor increases on a yearly basis and this is the reason for a re-rate. Trisha our client care manager called you and discussed the policy in depth with you. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
