Increased premium
Im insured with Outsurance for my vehicle. They sent me an email that my premium will be increasing. I called to enquire why and I was told it is due to inflation.
I don't understand how my premium can increase if I haven't claimed and a vehicles value decreases rapidly. So what is the inflation for.

13 Oct 2020, 14:01Good day Leigh-Anne,
Thanks for your feedback.
Elouise our client care manager was in contact with you to discuss the rerate in detail.
You are 100% correct, vehicles do depreciate in value however the cost of spare parts and labour increases which will have a direct impact on premium.
We do apologise for the disappointment.
Regards,
OUTsurance
