Increased in premiums but value of vehicles decrease

It's sad that even though the value of your car goes down each month OUTSURANCE would still charge an arm and leg for car insurance. My car is heading into being 5 years old by next year it being a 2020 model. Yet I will be paying almost R1800 for car insurance which is so ridiculous. I am told that due to my car being high risk and car parts becoming expensive over the years the insurance needs to increase. So basically at the end of the day we will be paying increased amounts for insurance yearly whereas our cars are getting older and older. Even though I told the sales consultant that I got a qoute from another insurance for the same vehicle and premiums were actually less she didn't even seem phased and just said that due to the above-mentioned reasons the premiums will increase. So much for OUTSURANCE advising PRICE BEAT.
