Got a new laptop and started with outsurance to have it insured. I filled out the online application with all my details and stating that I want to insure a laptop. A consultant phoned me short after. I had to give him all my details again? Why do we fill in the online application of the consultant asks you these questions anyway? He asked me the same questions 3 times really wasting my time. It sounded like he was at a party with loud noise in the background. I felt he asked me inappropriate questions about what house i stay in and the kind of roof I have? Why does Outsurance need this info to insure a laptop? He quoted me for ~400 pm for insuring a laptop. Definitely out of range. Hard to believe Outsurance is the best insurance in SA after this experience. Wasted 30 minutes on the phone with this consultant
