Incompetency from contractors

A Flexihose burst in my flatlet causing a water spillage on the laminated floor in turn the floor is lifting and need to be replaced as well as well some of the wooden furniture. Outsurance rejected the claim as the plumber (Masimele enterprises) claims it is a maintenance issue due to the pipe being rusted. A Flexihose is made from a rubber compound with a woven steel outer casing meaning it will not rust it can however burst being made of rubber. The plumber did not arrive the day he made the appointment 10/04/2023 but only arrived on 13/04/2023 meaning rust due to water quality could have accumulated on the metal parts of the pipe - I also blame negligence to the part of Masimele for not honoring the appointment date
