If we cant beat quote we will give you R400

Sept 2014 asked for a quote on new vehicle. Quote was too high so didn't accept but no mention of sending me R400. January 2015 asked for a quote on 3 cars plus household - again too expensive so didn't accept quote. This time I was advised that someone would contact me to send me R400. Didn't hear back from Outsurance so followed up. Was then told that because I had already had a quote within last six months they would not be giving me R400. I explained that I had not previously received the advertised R400 but was told it was my fault for not asking for - passing the buck. The phone call ended with me being relieved that I had not moved my insurance to a company that does not stand by its word or live up to its adverti*****t. Any excuse not to pay out the R400. Whenever I hear the Outsurance ad on radio or tv I quickly change the channel.
