I would rather pay an extra rand or two and deal with a company like Outsurance than try save a buck and get literally nothing out. Sure, sometimes my claim gets denied because it doesn't fall into the policy scope but at least I am dealing with pleasant and friendly consultants (who are HUMAN!) The consultants are well trained on the systems and policies, and they have always tried to get me something out, even if it's just great service and a seamless claim process.
