I had to make a funeral claim after my dad’s passing, the process was simple and clear. It took almost two weeks to receive my claimed funds, there was a delay on the insurers side because there was no update/follow up about an outstanding document that I had submitted. I had to make calls a few times in order for my claim to be processed again. My claim was approved within 48 hours of my last communication, a few days later I was able to make changes to my policy which was very simple and quick. I satisfied with the service I received, I’d only suggest agents are more proactive in checking when outstanding documents or other requirements are completed or submitted as funerals are stressful and costly.
