HOUSEHOLD insurance is a NO NO
Don’t take household insurance with them. I’ve never had any problems when it comes to vehicle claim but household is a nightmare!! They broke into my house, if sent them pictures of the items as proof that I dis indeed have the items i am claiming for, I have sent them pictures I took on the day of the incident, I phoned the police and they didn’t show up. I have not yet had the time to gp to the police station to open a case but all proof have been sent to them. Now theres this and that and I don’t even know what else to “validate” my claim!?! *** more do they need!!!! I sent them everything and the claim is not even R15 000. So it’s not as effortless as they make you believe. I’ve got a ****load to do during the day. I don’t have time for this nitty gritty **** just to claim items that I insured for a reason!!!
