House contents

If I could rate minus 5, I would. Lodged my claim for broken fridge due to loadshedding. The next afternoon someone from Samsung arrived to assess the damage. According to him it was the compressor. I asked him if it was due to loadshedding. Reply " It's my job to assess the damage and send a report" I asked how long does it take. His reply "15 minutes" Next day I follow up with Outsurance just to hear that it is impossible to send a report in 15 minutes. They have not received anything from the Samsung offices. The tat for this is 24 to 48 hours. Monday I received an SMS informing me that my claim was transferred to a new agent that will contact me. I sent an e mail to the new claim agent requesting feedback. Answer" my claim is in the process of being assessed and I shall be contacted after this is completed. Needless to say. I lost all the contents in my fridge and freezer. By then it was 6 days in total. Contacted a private appliance repairs company. Their technicians arrived today as promised. Replaced the compressor, regassed the fridge, supp**** me with a warrantee. All for more than R1000 less than what my co payment would have been. That is what I call client service. I cancelled my claim with Outsurance. I am really disappointed with the poor service I received from them
