Horrible Service

<p>I laid a claim with Outsurance a few weeks back due to leaking from my roof and skylight. About a week later I receive a call from a company called Amalgamated Holdings, they schedule an appointment for a time between 9- 1 which means I have to take time off work. On the day I call them to confirm and the lady says they will only come after 1. That means I sit and wait the entire day and no one shows up. A few days later they call to say someone came and I wasn't home. Utter *******! She apologize and asks to make another appointment. I said they must come6on a weekend as I cannot take another day off. The promise to come Sunday at 8am. I wait no one comes, no call? For the skylight, outsurance send a separate company who stick to the appointment. All this time I have no contact from outsurance. Eventually I call outsurance and from the start of the call, I can hear the lady that answered has got attitude and is not keen to assist. She says she has to wait until the assessors come back to her. She says she will call and follow up. I said I do not want to deal with amalgamated holding and she must send another time company. I also ask her to pleaded call me and advise me along the way. That was a week ago. No call from the new company, no call from outsurance. All this time, I still have the leaks which I imagine are doing further damage. It feels like outsurance does not want to take ownership and pay. They accept my monthly instalment but I feel like I am begging for some kind of service. I'm sure they are hoping I get so frustrated and just fix the issue privately out of my own pocket! What is the point of paying for insurance when you don't get any assistance?</p>
