Horrible experience

I was phoned by Outsurance for a car insurance quote. The call centre agent was very nice but then he put me onto his “manager” to get a “better price.”

The manager referred to me as “boet”, which I found very unprofessional as I do not know him. He then started to tell me how he would be starting my policy in August. I explained to him how I don’t want to start any policy without my permission. He then became rude asking me if I’m just shopping around (which I’m entitled to). I then went on to explain what I was saying and he told me “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

He was extremely rude and I will never take out any policy with outsurance. Besides, I got a quote from Naked insurance that beat their quote by R220.

I’m very upset by the treatment I received.
