Here's how OUTsurance is able to afford R800 cash back and reduced premiums

By employing its own assessors who make bias assessments on the repairs required on a vehicle. I have been with Outsurance for many years, and am now making my way OUT. Previously, following an accident, Outsurance would send you to an *independent* repairer closest to you to make an assessment on the damage to your vehicle and quote accordingly. But now, to save costs and offer new clients cash, they have their own staff at assessment centres whose main aim is to save costs. They will never recommend replacing parts, but would only recommend repairing. Their assessor recommends repairing the plastic part on the exterior of my drivers' side door- HOW? I have emailed and spoken to staff on the phone, but they seem to think plastic can be repaired.

I have three other products with Outsurance, and am in the process of moving my life cover- not excited about fighting with Outsurance when I need to claim from this facility, not even bothered about losing OUTbonus! My vehicle cover will be moved the moment they are done with the current claim. Noting that I will only accept my vehicle back if its restored back to manufacturers' spec- thats what Im paying for!

Hello Reyhana

We received very disappointing feedback from you. Our service provider did not give you correct feedback which we are very sorry about.

They will order the door sadly only now after our subsequent discussion with them.
We will arrange for a rental vehicle as soon as your vehicle is booked in again.

Regards
OUTsurance
