Harassed by Outsurance

***

Accident happened 2019/06/11 at Dobsonville clinic (inside the premises)

i am sending this review as my mom is being harassed and summoned by Outsurance to pay an amount of R11 000.

my mom bumped to her colleague at work 11 June 2019. the owner of the vehicle the Dr (outsurance client) at the clinic was not in her car at that time. my mom then went to find the Dr and told her what happened. they went to the car and the Dr confirmed that my mom shouldn't worry as it is as small bump and my mom did call to show her and it was an accident and that they shouldn't go to the police station she (the doctor) will sort it out. a few days later my mom called the Dr to find out if everything is in order and if she can help with the access the doctor again confirmed that my mom shouldn't worry she submitted the claim and the vehicle will go for inspection. After a few weeks the doctor called my mom and advised that the car was fixed and all is sorted out.

After the car was fixed my mom received a call From OUTSURANCE that the car is fixed and she owes R9 000. my mom suspected ***** she the owner of the car confirmed with her that everything is sorted and she does not have to pay anything.

Today my mom received summons at work that she owes R11 000. Why are they now summoning my mom to pay whereas the owner of the car said she sorted everything out? we even called the owner today and she confirmed that the car was fixed and Outsurance shouldn't be harassing my mom.

Shouldn't the insurance company before fixing the damaged car call the parties involved and discuss the matter? my mom only got the call after the car was fixed telling her to pay whereas the owner of the car is disagreeing with it.

kindly help as my mom is elderly and is really frustrated and stressed about this.
