Hail claim

<p>On Friday (21 Oct 2016, PMB had hail for about hour (on the Edendale side of PMB) the size of golf *****.</p> <p>I was hit by the hail.</p> <p> </p> <p>I had moved to OUTsurance this year for all my insurance requirements and was worried that the assessment would take some time.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am pleased to report that I was happily suprised</p> <p>My vehicle assessment was done the next day by the OUTsurance assessment team in Durban (thanks for Suren Bunsee from the OUTsurance assessment team and Ratish Kandhai from the claims department).</p> <p> </p> <p>The service at the assessment centre was fantastic. Suren explained all the details for me, together with finding me a hired car (I did not include this in my option). He contacted the panel beater that I requested to use (from the list that OUTsurance provided me - I did not need to call around at all) to ensure that everything was sorted out prior to my arrival on the Monday (24 Oct 2016). Suren really went the extra mile for me and made me feel a lot more comfortable in the process.</p> <p> </p> <p>I was hesitant that I would need to show the assessor where all the hail damage was on the vehicle, however the assesor saw more damage than I did to the vehicle.</p> <p> </p> <p>My claim was sorted within 4 hours of the assessment having been completed with Ratish keeing me well informed in the whole process.</p> <p> </p> <p>Claims and hail damage is not a fun experience, however I would like to say thank you to Suren, Ratish and the OUTsurance team for the quick response and support. </p> <p> </p> <p>We all complain about our insurance providers and service sometimes, however I was very happy with the service I have receieved from OUTsurance so far.</p>
