Great Service re refunding of Excess

I was involved in a motor accident last December where another car hit me when I was stopped at a red robot. I tried unsuccessfully for 5 months to get the other person's insurance company to pay for the damages. I was loathe to have to claim from my own insurance company when it wasn't my fault. I was eventually forced to claim from Outsurance. They were wonderful. They repaired my car quickly and easily, no questions asked, which was a great relief. The Outsurance legal dept went out of their way to try and claim back the costs incurred by the accident and my excess. They had numerous dealings with this other insurance company who flatly refused to pay the full amount. Eventually a small amount was offered by the other insurance company to settle the case. I was extremely surprised and delighted to be phoned by Ms Hooper from Legal to be told that I would be getting back my excess money even though there would be no extra money left over for the company to receive as compensation. The whole experience with the other insurance company was extremely unpleasant up until I called Outsurance. They fought my case for me and I am grateful to them for their professionalism and courtesy.
