Geyser issues AGAIN

I am very unhappy with Outsurance's service regarding my bathroom geyser.

Re the Rescue service - I was advised that the Pressure Valve and Thermostat had perished, once again, on the bathroom geyser and the cost would be R550 for my account (once again). I spoke to outsurance and requested that they send an assessor/service provider to give me an answer as to why - almost yearly, I have to replace the Pressure Valve and Thermostat on this geyyser and plse advise if perhaps the issue is not with the geyser itself as I am obviously fed up with paying insurance and then still having to pay the extra cost of replacing these items. I was told by 1 of the call centre people that no - they could not do that, and was advised to instead lodge this a claim. Ithen discover this morning that if I do it as a claim, I am liable for R2500 excess. Does this sound like some kind of a s c a m or what?

Still no resolution to my 10 year issue with the bathroom geyser, *********** service providers who the last time, when the geyser burst, installed new flooring but broker several tiles in the bathroom and never replanced them, another contrator who drilled a HUGE hole in the side of my hse, came back to plaster it but left it unpainted.

Shocking terrible horrible service from Outsurance - you might be cheaper - but I am learning once again that cheaper is most definitely not better

Hi Natalie,

Thank you for bringing the matter to our attention. Lelanie our client liaison manager has been in contact with you. She has appointed the relevant service providers to fix the geyser and to view the resultant damages which you described. The report will be sent to Lelanie once completed and then she will revert. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Regards, Kelvin
