Get OUT if you’re insured by anyone else.

OUTsurance is without a doubt the best insurer in South Africa. By a long mile. I have had so many claims sorted out within the SAME DAY. I listed one particular R130k+ vehicle claim at 11:00 on a Friday and it was aproved and paid by 16:30 that same afternoon. People don’t give them enough credit. Yea, I heard if you’re on the other end of their 3rd party claim you’re going to have a bad time (blah blah blah) but I suggest getting on the OUTside then. And if you have an issue with a new operator who gives you stick for no good reason, a manager picks up the phone and sorts it out immediately.

I send my policy schedule to other insurance brokers as entertainment to see how far off they are from getting me to leave OUTsurance. My total premium for everything - business, private, home is +- R8,000 per month. The closest quote I got was R10,500 per month from a broker using different insurers. Discovery Insure came out at R16,500! I don’t know how they make money but I hope they stay in business forever.

I recently had to deal with TIC Travel Insurance which is underwritten by Santam “Insurance good and Proper” bull**** and it’s a nightmare waiting for two weeks to get a response and then after a month of calling them over and over they turn down my ****** luggage claim because of some clause in a long document nobody ever reads. Don’t waste my time then!

With OUTsurance everything is on the telephone, no *** and quick. If there is any doubt or a grey area, they will take the knock. Show me one other Insurer that will do that.

Everyday I am amazed that a company like this exists in South Africa.
