I drove into another car on the 27th of July at 17:30 on Parklands Main and Blaauwberg road, with almost no visible damage - as I took pictures of the cars)<br> After being verbally insulted I manage to exchange details with the owner of the vehicle, for Insurance Purposes.<br> I have been waiting for the last two weeks to be contacted by the owner so that we could arrange the damage to be assessed by three individual registered Panel Beaters for a quote.<br> Today I got contacted by the OutSurance stating that the claim has been paid in full to the client, in the amount of R23000.<br> I have been requested to pay the full amount from the owner and OutSurance.<br> By law I am allowed to obtain 3 different quotations from different panelbeaters before it is handed to outsurance for processing.<br> I was not consulted in any decisions and is now responsible for firstly paying a possible ********** claim and secondly paying for legal advise in this matter, as I was contacted by the authorities.<br> <br> Policy Number: OT***2 / Claim Number: *** was processed without following correct procedure or legal process when a claim is done. <br>
